Choir Recording

On-location choir and choral recording across Wisconsin and the Midwest — albums, concerts, and liturgy, with sacred music a specialty.

Choral recording on location

A choir is inseparable from its room. Recording one in a studio strips away half the instrument, so the sessions come to you: your sanctuary, your concert hall, your rehearsal space. Schoeps and Sennheiser main arrays, a Josephson spherical baffle for the wide sacred acoustic, 24-bit/96k throughout, and redundant recording paths so nothing is ever lost.

Sacred music is the home repertoire

The last three albums from the Kantorei of Concordia Theological Seminary were recorded here, along with choral releases for Concordia Publishing House, the Lutheran Public Radio hymn collection, and live conference services with full congregations. Chant, polyphony, hymnody, cantatas — this is the music the rig was built around. Concert repertoire gets the same care; see orchestra and ensemble recording for instrumental programs.

What a session looks like

Album sessions run in takes with a producer’s ear on musical detail; concert and service captures stay invisible and let the event breathe. Session masters are delivered digitally for approval before editing begins. Streaming release and physical media production are available, including artwork and distribution guidance — the same path that carried past projects onto Spotify and Apple Music. Hear finished work on the Listen page or browse selected credits.

Churches and schools

Special consideration for congregations, parochial schools, and community organizations. If the project serves the church, say so — we will find a way to make it work.
